Buffone<\/a> was invited to participate in the <strong>Innovation in Contraceptive Research Workshop<\/strong>, held from September 3 to 5 in Mombasa, Kenya. During the event, he presented a talk titled:<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-2\"><p><strong>&#8220;Discovery of Novel Inhibitors Targeting CatSper, the Principal Calcium Channel in Sperm&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-3\"><p>In his presentation, Dr. Buffone shared his progress in identifying inhibitors that act on CatSper, a key channel in sperm function, and their potential as an innovative strategy in the development of non-hormonal contraceptives.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-4\"><p>The workshop featured prominent experts in the research and development of new contraceptive technologies, providing an ideal platform for the exchange of ideas and discussion of scientific advances with global impact.
