Durante el encuentro, integrantes del laboratorio presentaron dos trabajos enfocados en mecanismos de resistencia terap\u00e9utica y modulaci\u00f3n del microambiente tumoral en c\u00e1ncer de mama HER2 positivo y HER2-<em>low<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>La Dra. Marla Eliana Ladera G\u00f3mez present\u00f3 el trabajo titulado \u201cNeutralizing soluble TNF improves trastuzumab deruxtecan effectiveness in HER2+ breast cancer preclinical models\u201d, mientras que Camila Jenquel expuso \u201cEnhancing trastuzumab-deruxtecan antitumor activity by blocking soluble TNF in HER2+ and HER2-low breast cancer\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Ambos estudios analizaron el efecto del bloqueo del TNF\u03b1 soluble en combinaci\u00f3n con trastuzumab-deruxtecan (T-DXd), un anticuerpo conjugado a drogas utilizado en c\u00e1ncer de mama HER2 positivo y HER2-low. Los trabajos se desarrollaron en modelos precl\u00ednicos <em>in vitro<\/em> e <em>in vivo<\/em> de c\u00e1ncer de mama con expresi\u00f3n de mucina 4, una prote\u00edna asociada a mecanismos de resistencia terap\u00e9utica mediados por inflamaci\u00f3n.
