Cell-Cell Interaction Studies in Reproduction and Cancer

We are currently developing projects in Molecular Oncology and Human and Animal Reproduction and we collaborate in Human Health and Animal Biotechnology projects with public and private centers, with clinical and academic collaborators. In the area of Oncology, our projects are focused on the identification of biomarkers of solid tumors of epithelial origin (endometrial, bladder, breast and colorectal cancer). In the area of reproduction, we develop projects to characterize sperm biomarkers of functionality in the fertilization process. We employ diverse strategies, from bioinformatic approaches, use of human and animal cell models, cellular, molecular, biochemical and functional assays.
