Neuroendocrinology
Our goal is to elucidate integrative, physiological and pathophysiological aspects of prevalent conditions in our society, such as those related to reproduction, metabolism disorders and energy balance. In particular, we study the effects of neuropeptides, neurotransmitters, pollutants and other environmental factors in the development of reproductive and metabolic diseases and we evaluate potential therapies for their treatment.
