Open Doors Week
The “Open Doors Week” sessions at IBYME aim to disseminate scientific knowledge while reaching out to society.
The event, which targets Secondary school students, takes place at our Institute during the month of September and falls on the same date as the passing away of our founder, Dr. Bernardo Houssay, who used to say:
For more than 20 years, IBYME has opened its doors to share knowledge and experiences with students and teachers from secondary schools. Every year, we invite young people to take part in our proposal to become acquainted with the concepts with which our researchers are concerned daily in their different areas of expertise, playfully and attractively, within the framework of a benchmark institution in biological sciences research, given its background and the potential of its present.

En un magnífico marco, con más de 80 visitantes en cada encuentro, entre los días 27 y 30 de septiembre, se realizaron las Jornadas de Puertas Abiertas del IBYME.
