The Institute of Biology and Experimental Medicine (IBYME) is a CONICET – Fundación IBYME dual-affiliation research centre.

At IBYME, our efforts are geared towards developing biological sciences and experimental medicine, through research and human resources training while building alliances with national and international like-minded institutions.

Research, human resources training, rendering services to third parties and partnering with scientific, academic and business communities are the cornerstone of IBYME’s mission: furthering scientific knowledge in order to contribute to the improvement of human health, quality of life, and economic and social development.

We are dedicated to conducting basic and applied research in physiology, biochemistry and molecular biology; pre and postdoctoral training aimed at students and fellows; and courses targeting undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
